House and pet sitting

Roles of a House and Pet Sitter

Home owners usually have very clear expectations of house and pet sitters and it is the responsibility of their chosen sitter to meet these expectations.

House and pet sitters can be expected to:

– be trustworthy and reliable. You want to know that your house and pets are in good hands.
– arrive at and leave the house when expected.
– feed, exercise and care for your pets (should you have any) as if they were his or her own.
– ensure that your home remains clean and tidy for the duration of their stay, with happy pets and a well-tended pool, garden or outside area.
– provide a daily or weekly report on your home and pets while you are away, should you request one.

Our team of dependable house and pet sitters will do their best to make certain that you are satisfied with their services. There are, however, some expectations that must be met by the home owners for which they are sitting during their stay. These include:

– the provision of honest information about: 1) your pets, including their behavior, health and temperament 2) the nature of your property and its location and 3) the homeowners expectations.
– the provision of a bedroom, bathroom and comfortable living space (especially for long-term stays).
– a home that is clean and tidy that won’t impact the sitter’s health.  Our sitters would like to know that the house for which they are caring does not have a flea infestation/mold problem/etc.
